- SStephenToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoTuna tostada, steak tartare toast were delicious appetizers. Beet and parm risotto and halibut chowder fantastic mid-course. Rib steak frites main was good, not great. Veal jus a bit unexpected if you don't eat veal. Braised short rib tender and yummy. Nice Côte de Rhone bottle and creative mixed berry cheesecake and tiramisu profiterole for dessert. Live piano player singing lots of Elton John. A perfect Valentine's Day romantic dinner.More infoThe BerczyPrice: Expensive• Bistro• St. Lawrence Market•4.8
- SShaunakToronto / Ontario •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI went for Valentine's Day. They had a three-course fixed price menu for $89. The thing that stood out the most was the service. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful; he must have filled my water glass five times! The appetizer was good - I had the mushroom soup. The main course (duck two ways) was excellent. We shared a dessert, which also was good. Although it was pricey, I would come back for a special occasion.More infoJump RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.5
- JJuliaToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoServers were so nice! They were more friendly and warm rather than cold and respectful, felt like they were focused on taking care of our experience over the foods experience which was a nice change. Food came out so quick and was great, despite the pasta coming out a little cold. Ambiance and noise levels were perfect for a date night. The "Tap that Cake" was an affordable desert that overall added to the great experience. Would highly recommend to any visitors!More infoJOEY King StPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.7

- CCatherineToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe experienced a wonderful three course prix fixe dinner for two offered through Winterlicious, but Amano regularly offers special 'experiences' and menus. Three courses and we could (almost) not finish the generous portions :D Plus, there are delicious options for gluten free or vegetarian customers. We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of signature cocktails to start: Gazzoza Smash and Torino 1786. The sauce for the branzini was to die for, and pairing it with rappini was genius. The porchetta was perfectly cooked, so tender, with fantastic flavour. Tiramisu is sublime - light and yet so flavourful. Pavlova is decadent and light at the same time-the blueberry sorbet is a taste bomb! Finishing with excellent decaf cappuccino was a treat and a deal at only $6 (take THAT Starbucks!). Overall a great dining experience in a classy, comfortable, quiet atmosphere.More infoAmano TrattoriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• St. Lawrence Market•4.6
