Best Seasonal Restaurants in San Juan Capistrano

My friend and I enjoyed our Holiday Tea on 1/5/2025. Maya was our server and she was very attentive, took our picture, explained each of the foods as she served them. She answered questions about the kinds of tea that were offered and was very knowledgeable. All the food was delicious. There is so much, I would recommend eating a little bit and then box it up as you go so you have room for everything else. The food was presented very nicely. Very attractive platings. We’ll definitely be back!

We found our new "home table" a high top in the small bar area. It was perfect, the greeting, the service and the two specials. We had a wonderful evening and the bar was quiet so we could talk and enjoy ourselves.

One of my favorite places in town and I am a serious foodie! Just tried the stuff to zucchini flour for the first time and it is amazing! My favorite is the Meat Loaf but everything on the menu is spectacular ! Kudos to Josh and his team🙏🏻

We arrived 45 minutes earlier than our reservation and they seated us, even though Open Table didn't have seats. From the host to the server, everyone was very nice. We were celebrating my partner's retirement. Dinner was delicious, seating was great, and our server gifted us a little dessert to celebrate.

I went to Mayfield while visiting my parents for the holidays and celebrating a promotion at work. Expectations were high given that I looked at the menu online and thought I would happily eat everything on jt...and they were met and exceeded! One great indicator: 3 days later, my father, who is usually not impressed by restaurants, is still regularly raving to relatives and friends about the Moroccan carrots and grilled broccolini. The baba ganoush and date labneh were amazing to start with (along with the house-baked foccacia), and the beef tagine croquettes and mussels with n'duja also impressed. Dessert was a smooth, silky chocolate crémeux with orange/vanilla-infused olive oil to drizzle on top...just the chefs kiss. Service was friendly and helpful and enthusiastic, and the vibe was cool and relaxed. I look forward to returning on future visits!
