Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Not only is this one of the prettiest restaurants that we have ever eaten in the service, and food is wonderful. We honeymooned at station square 40 years ago and have returned on several occasions. The Grand Concourse has never disappointed. Tonight for our anniversary I enjoyed the duck and my wife had the scallops both were delicious and wonderfully presented. Started and ended the meal with a pearfect martini which was also delicious. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. We will be back.

Fantastic drinks and cocktails. Love the atmosphere on the bar side. The food is usually amazing - fried pickles were less crunchy than usual and the chicken sandwich was good- but not as outstanding as usual. Overall love the place. Hoping it was just an off day.

Soba lounge is excellent. We had two apps, three different entrees and 2 desserts and each was packed with flavor and beautifully plated. I recommend the rare tuna entree, the mushrooms on the appetizers - and the chocolate maki.

I met a friend for dinner on a Thursday night and we had a great time catching up. The food is delicious, the service prompt, warm, and friendly, and the atmosphere cozy. Parking can be somewhat of a bear, but Lucca's is worth that relatively small inconvenience.
