Best Seasonal Restaurants in Elmsford

So nice to go on a quiet Thursday afternoon and take advantage of their special chicken parmigiana. The hamburger was as juicy as always.

Chef Scott Fratangelo keeps reinventing himself. A magnificent filet mignon with chestnut purée and oyster mushroom cream sauce with dijon was as superb as anything you would receive in any super high ended restaurant anywhere. Chef Heather’s desserts continue to shine and surprise, of late a sensational eggnog panna cotta and intense warm chocolate tart. Sous Chef Mike is such an asset. Server Javier is the best there is and Francisco has been mixing some mean cocktails. After 11 years, L’Inizio continues to dazzle. Do make sure you try a meal here as you will not be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite restaurants food -wise in the Tarrytown area and we adore the owner and his family. It's casual feeling with upscale food. The sandwiches and burgers are great value. Some of the appetizers and main courses are a bit expensive for a casual-feeling place, but if you understand that up front you can enjoy a wonderful meal without getting dressed up. There are always some fabulous specials to select from plus enough basics to satisfy less adventurous eaters. The market up front gives the place a special feeling and it's a wonderful place to stock up on some gourmet treats. The cheese and olive selections are standouts.

Excellent! The homemade pappardelle with veal ragu is so delicious. All the pastas are good. We had grilled octopus prepared with chick peas- delish. The pounded veal chop parmigiana was a big portion- so took some home. Grilled scallops were very good. I love Tramontos. Have known Chef Nando for many years. He has brought an elevated menu to Tramonto’s. One of our faves!

Food was excellent chicken lettuce wraps, crab cakes and cheddar burger. Service was also excellent very attentive and helpful.
