Welcome to The Warren Restaurant, an extension of The Crowborough Estate, holding stock of Sussex Cattle, Boer Goats, Fallow deer, and Wild boar amongst others which the restaurant draws on for its menu. We are a Dog Friendly restaurant. Given the provenance, the kitchen predominantly cooks British food, occasionally dipping into other cuisines to provide a vehicle for flavours – nettle gnocchi for example, or poached oyster with wild boar chorizo.WE wanted a unique fun and informal restaurant, to offer their Crowborough Estate’s produce from. When the site of the renowned Signor Franco’s became available, with those iconic arched windows of its orangery and glorious terrace overlooking the Spa town, the stage was set. Please email us contact@thewarren.restaurant (our call line & online booking system will reopen from 1st August)Your SincerelyMagdalena & Martin

Our afternoon tea experience at The Ivy at Tunbridge Wells was exemplary. We went for our anniversary and the food, service and ambiance were amazing. We were even given a complementary ‘Happy Anniversary’ desert, which was very unexpected and a lovely gesture. Thank you to everyone who made our experience so memorable.

We had a lovely evening at Essence and felt welcomed and at ease from the moment we arrived. Service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the food and the fact that it was a decent portion size. We shared two starters and two mains with rice. We found the overall price pretty reasonable and will be back to sample more on the menu! Essence is definitely a great asset to Tunbridge Wells!! Thank you for a fun evening!!

We had a fantastic dinner here! Thoroughly recommend! We had starters, mains and dessert consisting of prawns, wings, steaks and lamb. Every single dish was not only delicious but well thought about and cooked perfectly. The dessert was to die for (choux bun filled with pistachio ice cream). The service was exemplary - instantly felt welcome - so friendly. Thank you for such a lovely evening. Will definitely see you soon.
