Sassoon was awarded the Military Cross for "conspicuous gallantry" and later won acclaim for his writing. Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. Incredible food and outstanding service. It was our wedding day and they were incredible from start to finish. The staff had extensive knowledge of the food and wine and were able to offer great recommendations. We will be back again soon!

We have eaten here before and would thoroughly recommend it. Very attentive staff and also accommodated our puppy with a few dog biscuits, nice touch. Lovely open fire, although unfortunately we were seated too far away to benefit.
