Best Seasonal Restaurants in Hyde Park

My wife, Susan, and I were looking forward to a delicious Italian meal for our Thanksgiving celebration Thursday evening. The staff greeted us cordially and promptly had us seated. We ordered cocktails. I was a little surprised when our server gave us menus offering a prix fix turkey dinner and an a la carte selection of dishes from the regular Italian menu; then it dawned on me that the management would have to limit one selection of dishes to have another for the holiday. We shared a lovely mixed salad with parmigiana cheese and a lite dressing. Susan had tasty scallops risotto and I had fruitti di mare rigatoni which was tasty and plentiful. Our only suggestions would be notifying patrons of the limited menu and to serve the cocktails more promptly; Susan’s drink was surprisingly salty and she did not finish switching to wine. Our server seemed to notice but did not comment but neither did we.

We took a party of 3 for Thanksgiving dinner and had an exceptional experience. All chose the Prix Fixe turkey dinner, and the meal was delicious! It really couldn't have been better. The highlights of the evening were the perfect preparation of our meals by the kitchen staff and our waitress, Kat. She made us feel at home. Kat was appropriately welcoming, attentive, and provided recommendations. She is knowledgeable, sophisticated, energetic, prideful, polite, and a perfect example of the characteristics Del Frisco's needs to highlight in a staff member. We will return, even though we had a 45-minute drive to get there. Exceptional ratings all around!

My family of four had a wonderful, prompt, and delicious thanksgiving dinner at Liberty and Main. The service was friendly and patient even though the restaurant was packed. We felt well attended to the entire dinner. We had more food than we could finish so the staff kindly packed it up for us and we enjoyed it the following day. We will definitely return.

Bar service a bit slow but nice server, as always. Food was delicious!
