Best Seasonal Restaurants in Hillsborough

Came here for a celebratory dinner with my spouse. We shared Clams Casino as an appetizer, and he had sea bass as an entree while I had the grouper. He enjoyed Birdsmouth lager, and I had a cocktail and glass of wine, then we each had dessert (peanut butter brownie and salted chocolate chip cookie). I also had an after dinner drink--the Jolly Roger. Everything was top-notch--the service was efficient but not rushed, the food was hot and delicious, our table was comfortable and we could converse easily but still felt the happy vibe of other diners around us, and the surroundings were elegant. Price point was high-end but not unreasonable--entrees $40-45, drinks around $14 each, extras $10-15 each. Parking was convenient at the Church Street garage across the street (though not included). Would absolutely come here again for a special occasion.

The food, service and drinks were great! It can get loud & having my party of 10 in the middle of the restaurant wasn’t my ideal location but the restaurant was crowded and there was nothing I can do about it. Looking forward to going back!

Restaurant is setup and looks like a steakhouse. Tables are a little tight. Not much room between Tables. Staff is very friendly and courteous and attentive. Food is excellent and comes to the table piping hot the way it should. Would recommend.

One of our favorite places and in our regular rotation! Also great for celebrations. We had our post wedding party here!

Excellent food from the house special to the ravioli. Service was very personable and not rushed. Highly recommend. Have been going to Caffe Piazza for several decades. Love it.
