Following the enormous success of Zuma London, Rainer Becker quickly recognised the huge popularity of robatayaki cuisine and opened ROKA Charlotte Street, London in 2004. The principal cuisine comes from the Robata grill. Located amid diners the grill forms an integral design element of all the restaurants but more than being a stunning feature, the robata is truly the heart of ROKA. In 2007, Hamish Brown became the Head Chef of ROKA Charlotte Street. We came here for ladies night to celebrate my sister’s birthday and it was just perfect! The ladies night was amazing value and the food was some of the best we’ve had on our whole trip here in Dubai and even back home in London. Sophia and her team were so friendly and the service with the drinks was brilliant. I can’t recommend this enough - we’ll definitely be back the next time we visit Dubai.
