Best Seasonal Restaurants in Eastpointe

This was our second time at Bakersfield and it has been great both times. Food is full of flavor and service is friendly. A bit loud for us to talk with our group, but it was right before the crowd was leaving for the Red Wings game, so we should have expected that. We'll be back.

What a gem! Our experience could not have been better. Our service was very attentive, and between the four of us choosing from different items on the menu we all loved everything!! Normally that does not happen. The two salads for the table both had wonderful flavors with such a nice variety of items in them. Our apps, dinner entreés and desserts were all just as exciting and yummy!! And the venue is charming, and almost a contemporary Victorian feel. We will definitely go back!

Our server Anthony was great and the food was as well. I will definitely return to the Bronze Door!

My comment to Dan, our excellent server, was that the food was "mind-blowing". Might sound a bit hyper but it's not. The flavors in each dish were delightful - really interesting and satisfying. We had two menu items and two specials between us, plus a made-in-house ginger beer and a novel (to me) Alpena, MI stout. Perfect. No desserts - we'll do that next time. We went for a late lunch and it was fairly quiet - but the layout and table spacing is such that you'd have a great experience even when it's full. The ambience is nice and the staff are fun. It's right next to the Detroit Institute of Arts and street parking was good - but there are parking structures nearby too. Also, the Q-Line tram goes right by on Woodward Avenue. The menu is so interesting that we have no choice but to go back!

Went for a show but ate at the restaurant first. Absolutely one of the most romantic restaurants I have ever been in. Lighting and overall ambience was very pleasing. Service was excellent. I had the chicken parm. Might have been one of the best chicken parms I have ever had. 5 star +.
