Best Seasonal Restaurants in Cathedral City

As always, Chef Paco’s creations are fantastic. And when he has Halibut we order it. Again, Chef outdid himself. Can only say, it was a magnificent meal. We shall return again and again. Our most favorite restaurant of all. Thanks to all, from waitstaff to kitchen staff there but most of all to the Chef. The Christmas Buffet was excellent with fresh seafood and anything else you could desire. Our servers were phenomenal. They were very attentive and friendly.

The service is always excellent. Our party dined on filet mignon, lobster tails, lobster ravioli, scallops wrapped in bacon, oysters, tuna poke with sides of creamed spinach and lobster macaroni and cheese. Our waiter surprised us with their delicious carrot cake with fresh whipped cream. All delicious with unsurpassed quality. Excellent wine list particularly the offerings by the glass. Consistently good every time. Pricey, but no more than other high-end restaurants in the area. Highly recommend for a special occasion or celebration.

My family and I enjoyed a lovely meal for Christmas Eve after church. Although our reservation was for 7 we arrived about 15 minutes early and were seated right away. The staff were attentive and constantly came to the table to offer drinks, more bread, and filled up water glasses. We ordered paella, mussels, ribeye, scallops and seafood pasta. All were delicious. The restaurant seemed busy so it did take a little longer to get food but we were offered a deliciousness custard desert on the house for our wait.

We live in Palm Springs and rarely venture out to eat. This was our first time eating at Wally's Desert Turtle and we were all very impressed with excellent service/staff members, food offerings, and a terrific wine selection, along with some wonderful cocktail options in addition to the classics. We will definitely be coming back!
