- KKayLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe found the Fug Tree on Open table and a travel blog recommendation and it was exactly what we were looking for! We had a fabulous time celebrating my daughter’s 23rd birthday trip from Los Angeles -- and met others celebrating their anniversaries. We shared 2 apps, a salad, 1 main, and ordered 3 drinks (2 different cocktails and a glass of wine) — and unfortunately didn’t have room for dessert which we were looking forward to — but they still brought some homemade chocolates on a plate inscribed Happy Birthday with a candle, which was lovely! The wait staff were very personable and took great care of us including splitting shared dishes without being asked. The cocktails were unique and yummy. The food was a fantastic mix of flavors and cooked to perfection. The house was tastefully decorated for the holidays. Compared to LA prices it was at least 50% less expensive than a similar experience — but we did tip a lot more than we usually would since service was fantastic and min wage in NC is about 1/4 of that in CA.More infoThe Fig Tree Restaurant - Charlotte, NCPrice: Very Expensive• Continental• Elizabeth•4.8

We al ordered the “Treatment” and weren’t disappointed. David made sure to cater the tasting to our liking and everyone has a great time exploring the many taste options. We will definitely be back again!More infoFin & Fino - Uptown CharlottePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Uptown•4.8
- CCaitlinVIPCharlotte •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHad a wonderful dinner at Sea Grill Restaurant to celebrate my dad’s birthday! The ambiance was beautiful - very classy and elegant! They really amped up the “ocean” vibes throughout the restaurant. They have an upstairs and a downstairs. We were seated downstairs near the bar, but the noise level was perfect for our party of 6. Upstairs it was much more lively, but still very nice. The service was top notch. They knew we were celebrating a birthday, and our initial interaction with our waitress was when she brought complimentary champagne to the table and a birthday card (so nice!). Cassandra was very attentive throughout the meal and made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, the food was very good! Of the appetizers we ordered, our favorites were the crab croquettes and grilled octopus. The baked oysters were take it or leave it for us - the oysters were almost nonexistent. For the main courses, we did the beef Wellington (great!), salt-baked branzino for two (so good!), and the lamb chops (stellar!), along with asparagus, seasonal vegetables, and parsley risotto. My dad received a complimentary tiramisu for his dessert (not a fan). We also ordered the crème brûlée (pretty good), pear carpaccio (not bad), and the velvet passion (our favorite!). The center has valet parking or you can self-park. Also, special shoutout to Raven - she also was a memorable part of our experience! We had a great experience and we look forward to returning!More infoSea Grill Restaurant and BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Charlotte•4.7
- KkennaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was such a fun dinner! The place isn’t very big and the vibes were immaculate! Everyone was eating, drinking and having a great time. We ordered a bottle of wine and the garlic bread (holy moly- can’t recommend enough). The food was taking longer than expected - we didn’t notice or care bc the environment was so fun and the wine was flowing- but the manager came up and apologized, our waiter apologized.. the service was phenomenal. And the food was 100000% worth the wait!More infoNorth Italia - Charlotte - South EndPrice: Moderate• Italian• Charlotte•4.6
