Best Seasonal Restaurants in Arboretum

This was our first time dining at Truluck’s. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday and was not disappointed!! We enjoyed a fabulous evening from the greeting of the hostess to our amazing waiter, Wayne. It was nice to have the manager stop by our table as well. The restaurant was so beautiful with wonderful ambience. The Sea bass and Scallops were excellent and the Baked Alaskan birthday dessert was delicious! We ended the evening with a drink in the bar, listening to the very talented piano/singer. Thank you Truluck’s for a very memorable evening. We will definitely be dining with you in the near future.

Visiting from Chicago! My brother, sister-in-law, father and I made reservations for dinner yesterday evening. Reservation was easy. We arrived and were seated in a timely manner. Our server Kevin was fantastic and attentive. My ribeye was perfect. Same for my brother. My Dad had the lamb…again, perfect. Spinach was great. Asparagus was a bit overcooked. Mashed potatoes were divine. My sister-in-law had the pasta with shrimp but said it was cold and she didn’t eat it (had it packed up). She didn’t want to complain.

The location is wonderful and with the Christmas lights everywhere it made it all the more lovely. The fig and prosciutto pizza was absolutely perfect. The drinks were nice, though it would have been nice to have chilled glasses for the Prosecco. Other than that the appetizers were hot and delicious, and the wait staff was attentive and welcoming. We are from Houston and love Misty and everyone there. It was nice to see another 60 Vines when visiting family for the holidays. Nice to see that the quality carries through to their other locations.

We did the Christmas Day special for a party of 6. The reservation was honored immediately and our table was ready. The salad bar was excellent again and the chicken Alfredo soup was great. The meat carvers were busy but mostly kept the plates full. Steaks and lamb were very tasty… the chicken wrapped in bacon was disappointing and very dry. Our table had to ask for the sausage as it ran out before they got to us. That just nit picking as all six of us certainly did not leave hungry. Great job and well see them again next year

Our server, Leeann C was incredibly kind. She offered to take our group photo as we were celebrating the Christmas holiday over lunch. When I asked about the soup of the day and told her my favorite was the tomato bisque, she said it wasn't on today's menu but she went to the kitchen and found out the chef's were already preparing it. She subbed it for me to make me happy!
