Best Romantic Restaurants in Windermere

Not a huge menu but everything we tried was outstanding. The service was on point and the cocktail list is endless. Having lived in Vancouver for years we are always searching for a unique dining experience. This is the closest we’ve gotten from the YEG places in ambiance. Well done! And yes this is located in the alley in the old Lola’s martini bar. Right across from the old bus barns/Strathcona Farmers market. Add Boxer to your must try list!

We had Green Salad, Beet Salad both very good and pastas. Pork meatball needs veal or beef. Service was pleasant and not over attentive giving us time to chat. I’ve been to Calgary locations many times. Great to have one in Edmonton. Miss the ricotta and shrimp tho.

The food was terrific all the items we chose were delicious our server Kim helped us with ordering as we had not been there in a while and was always there when we needed anything it was a great dining experience the only thing that was negative was it’s a large room and the noise level was quite high and maybe it was just the table behind us was a bit boisterous

We had an amazing evening with my husband and parents. The service, meal and ambiance was wonderful! The steaks, mushroom rib eye soup, no bake chocolate torte was outstanding. We will definitely be back to the Chop House in Ellerslie. Thank you Ed, Sharla and staff for making our evening beautiful. We greatly appreciate it! Our experience at Bucolic was fantastic! We were there for a friend’s get together for the holidays. The food was delicious, service was prompt, our food arrived shortly after we ordered, and our server was very helpful! Her drink recommendations were perfect for the occasion. Overall a great dining experience that I would do again!
