The menu, the sign—even the name—are a bit of a throwback, but current owners Guy Devillier and David Hoefer took over in 2018 and keep things attuned to today. Carbonara packs more nuance than you might expect, the slightly crackly pizza’s better than it has to be, and the bar pours lambrusco and negroni. Everything was great! From the bread, antipasto, oysters with a wonderful relish made from pink peppercorns, lasagna, black cod and a pistachio cake dessert. Our waiter was wonderful, helpful in descriptions, special requests and attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend this spot to celebrate a special occasion. Asked for and received a window table with a view of the sound.

We eat there at least twice a year when we come to the Seattle to go to the more theater for concerts. We always have a wonderful time. The food is always great and the service is out.
