Best Romantic Restaurants in Lake Forest

Wonderful cozy vibe with terrific service. Every appetizer and entree was delicious and presented beautifully. Cocktails were also fun and unique. Taylor took great care of us and answered any questions we had about how the menu items were prepared. The live music was definitely a treat. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the holidays, which added to the festive atmosphere. Great evening out!

Food was great as usual. Shared the pate, which was very good. Plenty of pate, grilled whole grain bread, variety of fruits, pickled red onion, pickled green onion slices(first time having this-it was slightly sweet & tasty), & jam. For my entree,I ordered my usual Gorgonzola & Granny Smith apple with grilled chicken. MUCH better than my last visit. My only complaint last visit was the lone thin slice of apple. That’s correct. ONE slice of apple. Perhaps the kitchen supervisor was new(?). Anyway, the salad was great. My friend had the rare grilled tuna sandwich. VERY good. My last visit, my MIL had the same & was also very pleased with her choice. We will continue to be regular patrons. The food & service are great. The brief tour of the garden/nursery is a nice distraction from LA traffic & the hustle of city life.

Jorge was our waiter explain all the specials, Terry who knows his wines, we told him we wanted a mild Italian wine. He told us about a Brunello wine from Abbruzzi that we would like. It was a great advice, tonight was our Grandmother who was born in Abbruzzi birthday so it was like a message from her. The food out stand, I had the special halibut was so delicious & we had veal scallopini with capers, the farfalle pasta with Bolognese sauce all out standing. Than they surprised us with a tiramisu birthday & sang to us in honor of our grandmother who had passed yrs ago. The reason I'm telling this is because the place really cares about their customers. Unfortunately heaters not working above our table on patio, but blankets were provided, so that helped. But not having outdoor heating on a cold, damp day made our experience uncomfortable. Service was exceptional. Really great team of servers.

We always love coming here. The staff is always high end in their treatment of each guest. My husband and I weren’t sure what we wanted and decided on pizza - make it simple. The crust is incredible, sauce was perfect. Oh and we hit the jackpot cause Wednesday you buy a pizza and get one - we took the 2nd one home. Great deal!
