Best Romantic Restaurants in Chestnut Ridge

everything was great. definitely will return especially in the summer DJ is big plus to the place. I just wish he reads the crowd better and play music to keep place more alive and keep people dancing. Its a Greek /Mediterranean place. I wish he played more greek energetic music.

Oh what a meal each and everyone of the four us was well feed. We had Caesar Salad, one of us had fish which was perfectly cooked. I had steak, again perfectly prepared as I like! The others had filet mignon that was fabulous. It is my number one close to home spot!

The Saddle River Inn is by far the best restaurant in Bergen county. My guests traveled all the way from Brooklyn, NY, and were absolutely in awe of the entire experience. The Christmas holiday decorations adding an extra layer of magic and charm to the already stunning ambiance. The food was perfection—every dish bursting with flavor and plated beautifully. The entire menu was a hit! Even my foodie guests, who are used to Brooklyn’s top dining spots, couldn’t stop raving about it. With the festive decor, cozy-yet-elegant vibe, and next-level cuisine, the Saddle River Inn made our holiday gathering truly unforgettable.

Lobster ravioli was awesome. Owner was very funny and and loves to talk to his customers.

Great experience. Food excellent. Reserved the private round table tucked in back of restaurant for 3 couples. Food was excellent everyone loved their choices. Service was good. One thing that was odd was that when we got there all the glasses and plates were upside down rims touching table. We are germaphobes so we wiped down our glasses. Also when server brought the Pellagrino she just plopped it on table not opened, no ice, no lemon. Typically a restaurant will bring it with glasses filled with ice and lemon/lime wedges. Despite these minor oversights, I do recommend this very good restaurant in the heart of Ridgewood.
