Best Romantic Restaurants in Naperville

The food was excellent, as always. Restaurant was beautifully decorated and staff were very nice. Our server was awesome. The restaurant was clean and well kept, as it always is. We waited a little longer than normal for our food, but it is Christmas Day and they were very busy. We have gone several times before and will continue to dine at Sullivans. One of our favorites!

Eddie Merlot’s exceeded all my expectations and delivered an unforgettable dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the elegant ambiance and warm hospitality set the tone for a perfect evening. The service was impeccable—our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The menu offered a fantastic selection, and every dish we tried was a masterpiece. The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. The sides, especially the [specific side you enjoyed], complemented the meal beautifully. And don’t even get me started on the desserts—they were the perfect sweet finale! What truly sets Eddie Merlot’s apart is the attention to detail. From the presentation of the food to the cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, everything was designed to make us feel special. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself to a high-end dining experience, Eddie Merlot’s is the place to be. I can’t wait to return and try more from their incredible menu. Highly recommend!

Hugo’s was packed last night. We were seated a few minutes late but we ended up in a booth. The server and staff did a great job with attention to detail. The staff was completely on game. The general manager stopped and chatted a bit despite an estimated 860 reservations for the night. The sautéed frog legs and escargot were prepared to perfection. We all ordered fish dinners with each cooked perfectly and served hot. All things excellent!

Phenomenal service, ambiance and food! We celebrated my mom’s birthday here today and we had a great time. The portions are just enough food, not huge portions but they are all quality over quantity for sure. We loved the white cranberry cosmo, the sticky chicken wings and the truffle fries - in particular the sauce that comes with it - wow! We also ordered the beef Wellington, seafood risotto (best scallops we’ve had), shrimp and lobster spaghetti and the hellfire chicken sandwich. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding which was also delicious. We will definitely be back!

The shakes were yummy, the Christmas decorations were great and it was such a bonus to see Santa!! Definitely pricey shakes, so JoJo’s isn’t a place we regularly frequent, but it’s a fun spot to visit for a fun Christmas activity/treat!
