Begin your evening with a Mojito or Sangria in the lounge, and then enjoy dinner while listening to our house music in the elegant restaurant, specializing in traditional Spanish and Cuban cuisine. Don't miss the Paella Valencia or the House Steak, a 55oz bone-in ribeye chop for sharing. A variety of fresh seafood is available daily from broiled lobster, fresh salmon and Sea Bass in our mango-miso sauce. The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments.     The food was amazingly authentic and the wait staff was exceptionally attentive. We were looking forward to real Cuban food and we were not disappointed. We had both an anniversary and a birthday in our party, and it was just a beautiful evening. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back soon for the weekend buffet!

    The staff was super accommodating- we added a few more guests last minute and they were really helpful. Food (bacon wrapped filets) and dessert (bread pudding) were fabulous as always!

    It was a great place to have brunch. Our son ate all of his chicken and waffles;). Service was great and the people working were all so pleasant. They even give locals a discount. Will definitely come back for cocktails and events they have with or without kids.

    Staff was friendly and accommodating, we celebrated a birthday on the patio and everyone enjoyed dinner and the casual ambiance. Pork chops, spaghetti with meatballs and the chicken parmigiana were fan favorites. Garlic bread and meatballs for an appetizer is a must, served warm and well portioned. Can't wait to return for another great dinner.
