Best Romantic Restaurants in Northshore

B&B never disappoints. The food, in my opinion, is the best in Houston. Chef Tommy’s Bacon is amazing and partly the reason we keep going back year after year. The service was great and attentive. Even with big parties during our dining, they keep making sure we had everything we needed. Very good place for intimate celebrations as well.

We’ve been to Potente numerous times and the food and ambience are always top notch. This time service was a little slow and chaotic; numerous servers bringing food to the wrong tables not just for us. The initial person who took our drink orders was actually at the wrong table but our waitress for the rest of the evening was excellent. Definitely recommend Potente.

Guard and Grace is a beautiful place to spend on any special occasion. My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed ourselves. Our server, Trey, had excellent table side manner and was very knowledgeable of the menu. We really appreciated him as our server and will request him again when we come back with friends and family. The only negative thing I have to say is we don’t feel that the steaks were worth the value for the price. I got the NY strip and it was very tough. Which, strip usually is always tough but I was expecting a more tender piece of meat with a little more flavor. My husband got the Ribeye and he also felt like the steak could have been prepared better. He asked for rare and it was a cool red center like Trey told us it would be, but he felt like it was a bit over cooked. He liked the flavor though. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. I think it’s worth a try.

This restaurant is on Houston Chronicles top 20 for a reason, best Thai food in town! Be warned, the mild is hot!

My husband & I had a great experience. The music was way too loud, and we couldn’t hear each other talk. But overall everything was great & we will be going back for sure:)
