Best Romantic Restaurants in George Town

We ate early and the restaurant was empty but we were seated at the very back where I had my back to the room and only had a view of the emergency exit, fire extinguisher and a high chair. When we left at 8, it was still mostly empty so there was no reason to seat us there. It was unfortunate because the restaurant is beautiful with blues that feel like you are under water. We both had La Crema Chardonnay. We shared a Cesar salad which was excellent. It comes with whole anchovies and bacon and they ask you in advance if those are fine for those with dietary restrictions. There was thin naan as the bread with a sweet fruit chutney. I had the lobster ravioli with Boursin. They were excellent. My husband ordered the chicken which was fine but was chicken so nothing to rave over. Service was attentive and not rushed. All in all, we had a wonderful time which would have been nicer with a better table. At a minimum, putting a mirror on the wall so anyone seated there could at least see a reflection if the room would be better.

Exceeded expectation’s. So far it is the best dinner we had on 7 mile beach We tried 2 ceviche dishes, a meat ravioli,agua tuna ( the best of them all) mahi and the lamb fettuccine . The fettuccine could have used some Parmesan or more ricotta but otherwise everything was wonderful! Our server provided great recommendations. He had been there since 2012. Wish we had gotten his name we would ask for him again

Such an amazing night for my family and I. Our server was an absolute doll, gave us many great recommendations, and was attentive all night. Highly recommend for everyone!!

Sit in Jhai's section! She makes great recommendations and is so friendly! We loved the arroz de mariscos, the asparagus and the snapper skewers!! Beautiful scenery, gorgeous sunset and positive vibes all around!

I recently dined at Veranda on a Wednesday night, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding customer service. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. To our pleasant surprise, the manager even stopped by our table to ensure everything was up to our expectations—talk about going above and beyond! Now, let’s talk about the food. It was absolutely delicious! Being lobster night, we indulged in the freshest, most flavorful lobster dishes I've ever tasted. Each bite was a delight, showcasing the chef's talent and dedication to quality. The menu offered a variety of options, but we couldn't resist the allure of the lobster, and we were not disappointed. Adding to the ambiance, there was live music that night. While it was a bit loud at times, it only enhanced the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. The combination of great food, excellent service, and lively music created a truly enjoyable dining experience. Overall, Veranda exceeded all our expectations. I can't recommend it enough, especially if you're a fan of seafood. We can't wait to return for another fantastic meal!
