- AAustinSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLive bass and piano music set an amazing scene for a dinner date for two. Our server Kasha was very informative and attentive. A manager came by when we ordered a dessert that was no longer available so he gave us a free other desert and offered a free drink. Above and beyond. Food tasted great and was exactly as described. Ultimately the bill came in lower than it usually does at a restaurant of this magnitude. Would highly suggest others come to books and records.More infoBooks + RecordsPrice: Expensive• American• Banker's Hill•4.7
- TWThomasWNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoParc Bistro and Brasserie was our choice for our Valentine’s Day celebration. In the forty five years that we have been together, we have had some memorable meals and experiences. Tonight, Parc added to that list. The service was exemplary, professional, friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. The timing and presentation of each course was as it should be , timely but unhurried . The roasted beet salad was superb with the nuanced balance of savory and sweet. Our entrees of Filet mignon, lobster and short ribs were cooked to perfection. The wine pairings heightened our enjoyment. The desserts of fruit tart and chocolate put an exclamation point to a wonderful meal. Parc Bistro and Brasserie created a memorable evening for us. Add it to your list of required fine dining in San Diego.More infoParc Bistro-BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Banker's Hill•4.8

We probably overstay our welcome because we were visiting with our son, but they had open tables and they didn’t bother us about it. - SStephanieChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoVisiting our daughter from Chicago for the week. Mister As did not disappoint. The ambiance, food and service was exceptional. Izzy was engaging and attentive to assure our dining experience was extraordinary. We were seated w a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything was brought out at a timely manner and we never felt rushed. Best Caesar salad w every leaf laced w dressing . The king salmon Wellington was unlike any salmon I’ve ever tried. The braised short rib was flavorful n simply superb (not fatty). The rack of lamb along w lamb stuffed cherry tomatoes was also delicious. There r so many fine restaurants in SD, but this by far one to revisit for us.More infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown•4.9
- MMargueriteLos Angeles •18 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoSeneca is the perfect restaurant for a special celebration. I took my good friend there for her birthday and from the moment we were greeted by the smiling hostess until the very end of service, we were treated exceptionally well. The service was extremely professional, yet warm and friendly. The food was phenomenal and we took our time and savored every delicious bite. We never felt rushed, despite it being a very busy night. Our table had a view of San Diego Bay, the airport, and a northwesterly view of the city. It was beautiful. We started with the arancini and scampi, which were both so delicious. We shared two pasta dishes - Cavatelli All Sugo Di Angelo and the Cacio E Pepe. I was a little sad that they changed the style of the Casio E Pepe, it was more like a macaroni & cheese, but was still tasty. The Cavatelli was perfect though! We ordered a dessert and they brought over a complimentary cannoli with a birthday candle for my friend. I highly recommend Seneca to anyone looking for a special place for not only a celebration, but to celebrate a wonderful meal.More infoSenecaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7
