We had a lovely set lunch today, with a fine selection of interesting courses and spectacular views over the harbour area. The panna cotta was too big for us to finish, but that was the only complaint. Those of us doing Dry January had a good choice of non-alcoholic drinks to choose from.

Booked Dinner during an overnight stop on Edinburgh on a Saturday evening. Restaurant was quiet as it was January. Service was perfect with right level of friendliness & enthusiasm. We chose the haggis spring rolls & beetroot salad followed by 2 venison haunches. all were delicious with the beetroot salad possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. Venison could have been a tiny bit pinker for our liking but nothing to put us off enjoying it. Portions were very generous. Would certainly return when next in the city.
