- EEileenColumbus •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a great experience. The food was delicious & our service was exceptional. We chose to sit on the side by the fireplace but unfortunately by. A speaker . We were still able to hold a conversation but would have preferred a lower level. We did not ask for them to lower the sound level though. You’ll enjoy FHF.More infoHavenPrice: Expensive• Californian• Encinitas•4.4
- TTaraSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoMy 17-year-old daughter and I just celebrated our birthdays having the exquisite four course dining experience, that was out of this world! Every course was so unique with flavors and combinations that delighted our senses. This was the first time my daughter experienced a Michelin star restaurant and I think she’s officially spoiled. Now, she wants to go around San Diego and experience all the Michelin star restaurants! The service was amazing and the dessert blew our minds!More infoJeune et JoliePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Carlsbad•4.9
- JJamesLondon •6 reviews4.0Dined on 7 Jan 2025Unique and interesting food. Of our 4 dishes, two were great, 1 was alright 1 was not to our liking. Service was attentive and professional, ambiance was quite bare and utilitarian . Lots of sake choices, but quite expensive . Exhaust kitchen fan was quite loud, noticeable relief when it went off. Food was quite rich, tough to see how folks can navigate a 10 course tasting menu.More infoMatsuPrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Oceanside•4.7
- NNatalieVIPVancouver / British Columbia •2 reviews5.0Dined on 5 Jan 2025Third time back in four months. Worth the drive to Oceanside. 24 Suns is doing something few restaurants do: take pride and ownership of every morsel of food on your plate, from the 21 month aged house made soy sauce to the foraged rare matsutake mushrooms. I have no experience in fine Chinese fusion cuisine, but I have enjoyed almost every dish served. Flavors and textures are unique, on point, and table conversation pauses with each course to discuss the dish… or simply savor. Service is friendly, attentive and accommodating of dietary needs. They do pairing menus often; we did the tea and dinner pairing, which was a unique and delicious endeavor. Cocktails are also unique and exceptional. I have respect for chefs pushing themselves out there with confidence in a crowded dining scene flooded with established restaurant groups. The dining room is now undergoing renovations after almost a year open but the time spent in the dated space has cemented 24 Suns as one of my favorite restaurants.More info24 SunsPrice: Expensive• Chinese• Oceanside•4.5
