We’re a chef’s playground of fresh coastal cuisine with a wood-fired grill and Buckhead’s best cocktails - all centered around our charming garden courtyard. We feature raw oysters, fresh seafood and local "craft" foods made with passion by our culinary team. Our menu changes frequently, but fan favorites include our lobster roll and the wood fired branzino. Our cocktails mirror this fresh take and are the perfect compliment to our coastal cuisine. Come down to our corner that's tucked away in the Shops Around Lenox. We offer a charming garden courtyard complete with fire pit as well as indoor dining options. The restaurant’s unique name comes from an extended essay by English art critic John Ruskin. The "lamps" refer to the seven principles of architecture: sacrifice, truth, power, beauty, life, memory and obedience.

The Alden has an intimate setting which is perfect for a special night out or a culinary adventure. I was celebrating my best friend’s birthday and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making the entire experience feel personal and welcoming. I’m no food critic, but I can recognize fresh, high-quality ingredients, and Chef Jared and his team delivered that in every dish—10/10. Sitting at the counter was the highlight; it’s the best seat in the house. You get to watch the chefs in action, adding a layer of entertainment to the evening. Each course was perfectly timed, creating a seamless dining experience. The combinations of ingredients and pairings were nothing short of fantastic. Some dishes featured bold and unexpected flavors that worked together beautifully. The quail and scallops were my favorites—flawlessly executed and deeply satisfying. I also appreciated the global influences woven into the menu, which made each dish feel like a small journey. And let’s not overlook the fact that Chef Jared is as talented as he is handsome—a fun bonus to an already unforgettable meal. They gave us a birthday treat to top it all off. I can’t wait to go back to experience other dishes.

From the moment I stepped into Chops & Lobster Bar, I knew my family and I were in for a treat. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant, with warm lighting and thoughtful décor that invites you to settle in and savor the experience. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. Our server (Earl) was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, ensuring every dish complemented the next. Now, let’s talk about the food. Every plate was a masterpiece. The Porterhouse Lamb Chops was a revelation, with its perfectly balanced flavors and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The Hong Kong Sea Bass, a house specialty, was an explosion of taste that left me wanting more. Even the side dishes and desserts were crafted with care and attention to detail. You must try the Mediterranean Octopus!!! One of the standout moments was the presentation. Each dish arrived like a work of art, showcasing the chef’s commitment to excellence. The drinks were equally impressive. The Chops Old Fashioned and Herradura Blanco Margaritas was expertly mixed In short, Chops Lobster Bar is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food, stellar service, and an unforgettable dining experience. If you're visiting Atlanta make sure to add to the top of your list. I’ll definitely be returning!
