Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Sunnyside

Sputino is consistently the best male have ever had. I am almost emotional about the pasta dishes we had this time. The dishes are inspired and full of flavor. The staff is knowledgeable and genuinely seem happy to be a part of something truly special. Sputino and the team that creates the experience we had deserve to be recognized for excellence. We've tried to get a table here for years and on a whim got on open table for my wife's birthday. Our experience and expectations were exceeds! Service impeccable, food a great adventure, and expert wine pairings. This is worth a special occasion splurge.

Amazing experience! Started with the prosciutto, a pinot grigio, and had the tagliatelle, followed by the torta. It was all so wonderful! HIGHLY recommend the tagliatelle!! I sat at the bar, where Caesar waited on me, and he was exceptional. Highly attentive but not over-bearing; he was personable and friendly. I loved the ambiance as well. It should also be said, Caesar went above and beyond, and is an expert in his craft! Make a reservation, and you will not be disappointed.

Everything about this place is exceptional! We worked our way through the menu and everything we tasted was amazing. The combinations of flavors were all exquisite. The toro tostada was one of our favorite dishes. The mushrooms and the mole beef cheeks were also stand outs. We truly didn’t have an unsatisfactory bite in anything that we tried. The mezcal selection was fun and on point. Our server, Christina, along with all of the other staff, was attentive and kind and added to the whole experience. I woke up the next day still dreaming about this place. 20/10

Despite a mix up with our reservation time our family of 5 was able to be seated at the corner of the bar which was great. We had our meal in front of some old Seinfeld shows on the bar TV which was a nice NY experience. Staff and food were both great.
