- WwarrenvipHouston •15 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is just an all around great restaurant. My partner and I have been there three times now and everything we’ve tried is amazing. We had the duck/apricot paella the last time and it was an amazing dish. Frankly, it’s equal to or better than the paella I’ve had in Spain. The grilled shrimp appetizer was also incredible. The shrimp was more consistent with langostines so that was a real bonus! The waiters are great, especially Cameron, so there had never been an issue. The last time I rated it, I dinged them a little for their very un-Houston like dress code (men can’t wear shorts no matter how nice but women could waltz around with their b~tts and b@@bs hanging out), but men can now wear nice shorts with the relaxed dress code. Thank goodness because now I’ve been there three times in two weeks…. It’s a must try restaurantMore infoMADPrice: Expensive• Spanish• River Oaks•4.6
- HheathervipSan Francisco Bay Area •38 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food was excellent and the tasting menu was an amazing way to enjoy many different dishes. Definitely a great way to enjoy a birthday dinner with family. Their service was great and always checking in on the table. Server Dani was very helpful with suggestions and this establishments ambiance was great. I think this was better than Uchi. Thank you for a wonderful birthday experience!More infoUchiko HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• Sushi• Galleria / Uptown•4.9
- TTerryvipHouston •47 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had dinner for three in their private dining room - great ambiance, lower noise level. Two dozen east coast oysters were delightful, served ice cold, opened to perfection, with delicious condiments - as always at State of Grace. Being regulars at SOG, we ordered our usual - Caesar salad, blackened redfish, Cacio et pepe pasta, and topped it off with their chocolate pecan ball. All were delightful, which, along with the normal friendly, efficient serving staff and attentive management team, keep us coming back again and again. Keep up the great work SOG team!More infoState of GracePrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• River Oaks•4.8
- MMarianHouston •6 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Nov 2024We had an early Thanksgiving celebration with my brother-in-law at Musaafer's. We had eaten there before but everything seemed even better this time than before. For appetizers, we had Mithu's Coriander Shrimp, Seekh Kebab (beef), and Shammi Kebab. For the main dish, we had Butter Chicken Experience and Rizala Lamb Chops (my favorite). We also had basmati rice, garlic naan, and tandoori roti. And if that wasn't enough, we had 2 wonderful desserts that were beautifully presented. Everything was tasty, the ambiance was stunning yet quiet, and we will be back again, for sure. The waitstaff was great!More infoMusaaferPrice: Very Expensive• Indian• Galleria / Uptown•4.7
