Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Rosemont

Nice dinner at Wildfire last night. The server, food runners and bussers were very efficient. The food was great. The three filet medallions are an excellent value, and the scalloped potatoes were excellent. The restaurant seems a bit worn and is in need of updating.

This is my favorite Bar Siena location. It is ideally located in the mall, so there is a lot of parking. The entire restaurant is spacious and comfortable. The food and drinks are wonderful. Tracy, who is one of the managers, made our group of four feel very welcome.

This neighborhood restaurant rivals any experience downtown! The staff is very attentive and friendly. We have so many menu favorites. For an appetizer, the ropa vieja with a side of guacamole and an order of queso fundido are delicious and a great way to start your meal. The mole sauce on the chicken enchiladas is excellent paired with a side of elote. Other entree favorites are the carne asada, barbacoa tocos and fire roasted shrimp. I love this Mexican restaurant with a Latin influence!

The Duplex has been on our list for awhile and I’m happy to say it did not disappoint. It all started with our server Josh S., who was fantastic- he was very personable and attentive without being overbearing, made great suggestions and even brought us a couple after brunch cocktails on the house. The chicken and donuts with hot honey were unbelievable. The chilaquiles with chicken tinga were also very good, just not on the same level. The Bloody Mary was just ok- the bacon was a nice touch but no celery, pickle or olives to really give it flavor. Loved the Blind Monkey banana infused cocktail. All that said, what really made it stand out for us (besides Josh) was the live DJ. It was a bit loud but we loved hearing our old school favorites - it just brought such a great energy to the space.

Food and service were fantastic! The special lobster ravioli was out of this world. I’m still thinking about it. Thanks Kelly for the recommendation!
