Serving both 6 and 9 course tasting menus, we study the gastronomy, history, and cultures of the region to answer the question:“What is Mediterranean cuisine?”After many years of personal and professional exploration of the Mediterranean – including extended stints at three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana and Azurmendi –Felipe has brought this spirit of exploration back to his home in Houston. The word ‘MARCH’ signifies an area of land on the border between two territories; a frontier between realms. The menu is the team’s love letter to the Mediterranean where we will explore the unique, layered evolution of its many connected cuisines, with beverage pairings/selections artfully curated by partner and Master Sommelier, June Rodil, and the acclaimed beverage team.

Always a great experience dining at TC! Service is impeccable from the time you walk in! Sofian was our waiter at my last dining. He is the best! He remember my likings from the last meal and I was appalled that he remembered the intricate details! His suggestions and wine pairings for our meal was stellar ! He checked in on us through the entire meal just to ensure we were satisfied and short of nothing! Please ask for him when you dine there! Service , food ambience is top notched! Definitely my favorite place to dine in Houston! Thanks Sofian, thanks TC for an enjoyable evening! See you all soon again!

I recently visited State of Grace for a Christmas date with my husband, and while I had high hopes for the evening, the experience was a bit underwhelming. We ordered 1/2 dozen raw oysters and Oyster Bienville to start, followed by two spritz cocktails and the Bistecca alla Fiorentina as our main course. While the service was attentive and the ambiance was inviting, the food itself left much to be desired. The oysters were fresh, and the Bistecca alla Fiorentina didn’t live up to expectations, especially considering the hefty $370 bill. Having traveled to Florence, we’ve enjoyed authentic Bistecca alla Fiorentina at Trattoria ZaZa and Buca Mario. The portions there were much larger, unbelievably flavorful, and cost around 70 euros—an experience we still miss to this day. Hoping to relive that memory, we decided to give State of Grace’s version a try, even at $225. Unfortunately, it fell far short of the real thing. Overall, while the service and atmosphere were enjoyable, the food fell short, making it hard to justify the cost. I wouldn’t recommend it for the price point, but it might be worth a try if ambiance and service are your priorities.
