Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Reynoldstown

The food was undeniably good, with dishes that were well-prepared and flavorful. However, the experience felt rushed, as the courses arrived almost immediately after one another, leaving little time to savor each dish. Additionally, the ambiance was less than ideal due to the constant opening of the door to the outside, which brought in unwelcome drafts and made it difficult to relax. A bit more attention to pacing and temperature control would elevate the dining experience significantly.

We had a wonderful waitress who was super attentive and made sure we had a great first time experience. The food was good. We went for the Steak Night special they had. I ordered a 14 oz NY Strip medium with a side of Mac and Cheese. I added on Asparagus. The food was seasoned well and wasn’t too overpowering. I really loved the Apple Pie for dessert. We decided on the Cabernet bottle for dinner and it was Bonanza. It was a semi spicy cherry wine and paired well with my steak. Overall, we will be returning when I arrive back in town. They did validate for 2 hours free parking in the parking deck behind the restaurant.

Atmosphere, food and service were excellent. Angel was our server and he was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Bartender was also super friendly. I recommend valet parking which is $6 after validation.

As ALWAYS, our server, JO, provided yet another OUTSTANDING dining experience. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. The food was equally incredible; the revamped lavender crème brûlée is a game-changer. 🤩 The moment that solidified my fondness for this place is when my sister (the other guest dining with me) noticed the attentiveness and teamwork practiced amongst the staff both FOH and BOH. In addition to our server and support staff, Deja (the GM) also visited our table, offering to assist us with anything we needed. Nowadays, with the overabundance of “cash grabs” in the city that lack substance and fail to grasp the fundamentals of hospitality, the top-notch dining experience provided at Cooks and Soldiers is so refreshing. My experience was great. I had the feat of the 7 fish menu. The food was exquisite, my server was knowledgeable, attentive and professional. The ambiance and the decor is very cozy, romantic but modern. What I could criticize is the wait between the course went a lil over the reasonable time considering that the restaurant was not crowded. The ladies room decor did not meet my expectations considering the restaurant standard and price. Overall, I would rate it a 8.5/10
