Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Loomis

What a nice hidden gem! The food pictures on-line lured us in. We read some reviews on Open Table, drove up from the Bay Area to see friends, and the four of us decided to try it. Very happy we did. The steaks, the salad, the meat loaf, the soup, the shrimp appetizers, and the libations were all very good too. If we had one complaint, it would be a small one: the music was little too loud. We all were wishing that it was more background music, so we wouldn't have to lean across the table to talk with each other. That said, we'll still be back. The service was great, and the food was Oh So Good! Great job Bennett's Kitchen!!

The food was delicious (plank salmon over spinach, shrimp fettuccine, and beef tacos). It was very busy, but service was good. Be prepared that the music, large crowd, and hard surfaces make for a noisy environment.

Asst Chef Donald and the entire crew and staff were so nice about explaining each dish. Can I give 10 stars!!!

This is the most delightfully curated English Tea house. England and Jane Austin themes are everywhere. The loose leaf teas are fantastic and the blends are made by the owner. The high tea food was amazing and the scones were Real English scones. They melt in your mouth. I highly recommend the Sotherton Tea House experience. It is very unique in the greater Sacraments and Roseville area.
