Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. A shimmering central dining bar in the restaurant draws admiring attention, and the signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection ensure the longevity of this very British of dining institutions. Executive Chef Gary Lee creates balanced seasonal menus, featuring Ivy classics, but accounting for today’s tastes, incorporating more Asian dishes, salads and vegetables, and the advent of a “sea and shells” section. Director Fernando Peire leads a strong and experienced team to deliver the unfaltering service for which The Ivy has become well known over the years. The Ivy welcomes customers without reservations at the central dining bar, where the A La Carte and Set menus are both served.

We are a natural wine bar and restaurant in the heart of Soho - we change our menu weekly and cook with the seasons using the best ingredients the season has to offer. Our menu is an eclectic array of dishes that we're either in the mood to eat or that take inspiration from a dish we've enjoyed somewhere along our journey. Whatever it is, we aim for it to always be a combination of simple cooking and delicious flavours.. This keeps us excited, and what we do at Ducksoup fresh and lively. We search out characterful wines for our wine list and work with a small number of suppliers who source well-made, honest natural and biodynamic wines from producers whose wine-making practices are carried out with love and care. We change our wine list by the glass as frequently as our food menu so that you (and we) get to enjoy new and interesting wines.

In addition to the normal criteria of food, service.ambience we can also add “response in a crisis”. For this we give the team 11 out of 10 for being phenomenally supportive when one of our dinner party suffered a seizure. Their response with an on site first aider coupled with calling emergency services and the way they managed the whole situation with calm urgency and empathy to all concerned was both impressive and appreciated.

Loved it.. don’t go to the Ivy and think it’s “posh” it’s good food and service with “feel good” menu. Special mention to the service staff, Paulina and the short haired waitress. Creme brûlée needs to be in a ramekin and a crunchy top, not flat and sugary with a blow torch.. everything else is good.. see you soon.

I’ve eaten here on a few occasions now and each time it has been a delightful experience, not to mention the food they serve is picture perfect and delicious! This time I brought a few of my friends as part of a jolly, the ambiance was perfect, the Christmas decor was out in full glory and the once again the food was exceptional, in particular the braised Herefordshire beef orgasmic! Clos Maggiore was brimming with customers, so much so we had to wait a little for our table. However by way of compensation we were treated to a really delicious glass of Prosecco which successfully sweetened the deal. My only niggle was that the sommelier was a little busy which meant the experience of timing the wine to the plate wasn’t spot on but in fairness the restaurant was packed! So overall we all had a really lovely time!

Went ALL IN for lunch. Perfect amount for 2 blokes washed down with a very pleasant pale ale. The service was excellent, very patient and they dealt with a dairy intolerance with clear understanding of what was possible. Will be going back as I want to try the steaks next. Great value business lunch in a super location.
