If you're on the hunt for a brunch spot that feels like a culinary celebration, look no further than Mowry & Cotton at The Phoenician in Scottsdale. From the moment you step onto their sun-dappled patio, you're met with a laid-back yet refined atmosphere that pairs perfectly with their unforgettable menu. But let's talk about their burger and fries—an absolute masterpiece. The burger is cooked to perfection, with a juicy patty layered with bold flavors and melty goodness, all hugged by a toasted bun that deserves a standing ovation. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and seasoned to make your taste buds do a happy dance. This is not just a meal; it's an experience that sets the bar impossibly high for brunch indulgence.

Delightful choices, perfect for late afternoon/early dinner dining in a beautiful garden setting. Seasonal vegetables and meats put together in fresh creative ways. Hummus appetizer with homemade blue corn chips a must. Also the desert fruit tamale with guava sorbet and coconut a surprisingly delicious ending.

J&G is our favorite place for special occasions. Third time there this year. They were overrun on Christmas Eve. The bar area was woefully understaffed. Our table was ready 30 minutes late. But our server Jeff was fantastic and made up for the very rough start in the bar. And they comped our drinks from the bar without prompting. The bar server is great - but he was alone with full dinner tables set up for Christmas Eve and a crush of folks waiting for tables. I felt sorry for him. Jeff told us that it was the busiest he’s ever seen it in 11 years. Management should have seen this coming. It the food was great and we enjoyed ourselves. We will be back.

We went to W & W with our family of 7 after church on Christmas Eve and could not have had a better experience! The service provided by Tammy was beyond amazing! She was attentive and very helpful in offering suggestions! Most importantly, she was kind and gracious to the three small children at our table. We will come back not only for the food and ambience, but also for Tammy’s service. Happy new year!
