Best Live Music Restaurants in Cowbridge

Visited Bath for Valentine's Day and The Square Brassiere and Piano Bar was our post Valentine's evening venue. We were booked in for 7:30pm and expected to be there for a couple of hours or so. From the moment we entered the premises we felt we were special. The staff were polite and attentive, the venue was welcoming and nicely laid out and the pianist was fun and accommodating regarding requests. We had the set Valentine's menu, none of which disappointed, delivering a variety of choices within it's framework. We had a great evening, eventually leaving at closing time. Service was really good, waiters were attentive and always around for you to ask for anything, didn’t feel rushed, food was lovely only small issue as I am 8 months pregnant I did make them aware of this soon as we sat down, one of the courses had alcohol in but didn't state this on the menu, luckily only had the smallest bite, they were very quick to apologise and a replacement came back out quickly.

Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The service and attention to detail was so impressive. The food was beautiful and I don't think I've ever seen my husband enjoy a steak as much as he did at the Ivy Cardiff. The only flaw I'd mention, if considered a flaw, more a personal opinion really, was the music level was a tad too high so we couldn't fully enjoy the romantic sounds of the harpist. Otherwise everything was exactly what I'd expect and was a real treat for us. Finally the little birthday dessert treat was a lovely surprise. Thank you so much to all the staff.

A lovely Sunday lunch! Food was beautifully cooked and presented, and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning soon :)
