Without a doubt this restaurant in this underated village of Northumberland should NOT be underrated. The Courtyard is a credit to the Community of Pegswood. We were there for the Valentine’s Day special menu in 2025. The friendliness and welcome of the staff matched the theme of love and care of the day. The food was great quality and very well presented. However, before rushing to 5 star across the board, there is a long enduring element that should be addressed. Having been there a number of times now since it was opened, the service has tended to be slow at busy times. They were still amazing, a credit to the establishment. The food choices are small but varied, I find this a more acceptable choice than a menu with a lot of different options tends to be less care taken during prep, it also makes it less time in cooking and waiting which I find better as the

We have lived local for 10 years and never really noticed this restaurant. Wow, fabulous. Excellent service, really good layout and quality food. I love when you go to a restaurant and the food is actually hot, not warm but hot. We shall definybe back.
