So yummy. Steak cook to perfection, great portion of ships, love the Bearnaise sauce and the rocket salad is a plus. We usually sit at the bar. Lately found lot of loud chit chat behind the bar not related to servicing customers, which add more noise to the overall. Other than that. Great selection of wine by the glass.

We dined today at the Ascot Vale Hotel and all enjoyed the excellent value 'Tradies Lunch'. At $25 for the meal including a glass of wine and a drink, it is great value. I highly recommend the Barramundi and chips!! But, more importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Isaac was our 'Main Man' and he looked after the 5 of us very well. A very nice guy and we all appreciated his delightful sense of humour! Keep up the great work guys! PS: I have a bit of skin in the game, having been a barman for 3 years when completing my degree at Victoria Uni (ex FIT).

The menu is a bit small, but do they pack a punch! The kangaroo tartare tartlet and the lamb dup are both outstanding. Good wine list as well. But it’s not a very busy restaurant and the service is excellent.

The kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food and there were lots of GF options available. Waiter was excellent and very helpful. There was no push to get rid of us so we were able to sit around after our lunch chatting. Definitely heading back for another visit.
