Best Live Music Restaurants in Valley Glen

The food here is outstanding! The service in my previous experiences has been VERY good! Tonight ... the service was sub-par! We waited almost an hour for someone to take our order. Not sure if they were short staffed or having a staff meeting or what- but all someone had to do was explain... instead I just heard 3 times, "we all work as a team here" what does that even mean???? I will give it another chance.. but Also they brought a "complementary" desert... I LOVE sweets, but this was terrible!! So glad I didn't pay for it! Guess they can't do sweets well!

Our reservation was for 2:30 last call for the kitchen was at 3pm. I was not aware that the kitchen was closing so early. The waitress was very nice but to get our stuff out was very slow and our food was cold. Not sure if it was because the time we got there or not. Over all the place was cute and the drinks were festive.

I’ve been eating at Cafe Sierra since I was 10 years old. That’s more than two decades of patronage at this establishment. I still recall the earlier years when food stations expanded into the walkways, when the main display of hot foods bifurcated the seating area, when the accompaniment of the grand piano by the corner was a warming sight, and when shark fin soup was abundantly served (before it was banned). I became wary of a potential quality decline during their massive renovation several years ago into a more sleek, open, yet foreign sort of buffet absent of the usual offerings. After a 5 year break, I finally returned for their endless steamed lobster holiday buffet. I am thankful to say, I was NOT disappointed in the slightest. The seafood was fresh, the hot entrees were delicious and flavors well paired, wines and beverages were all included, and best of all, live music had returned - the melodies of an acoustic guitar echoed through the dining hall acting as the culmination of a triumphant return to its original form. Everyone should give this buffet a chance, especially my seafood lovers!!

Love the service, the vibe, and the food! It's a great location that makes you feel welcome when you drop off your car in the valet to the last course! Coming back soon!

First time and we all loved it! Our server was the best and gave the best recommendations. Will definitely be back!
