- DDawnNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe were in New York the Sunday before New Year’s, and had the great fortune of going to Sugar Bar. I seen Valerie Simpson on TV a few days before and it reminded me of this restaurant. So glad I happened upon that interview. A New York neighborhood restaurant bar was full of chatting people having a good time. The food was good. The drinks were great and the desserts scrumptious. More importantly, it was beautiful to pay how much to Ashford & Simpson. It reminded me of growing up with their music in the background. We went on a Sunday; next time I’ll be sure to go on a day that they have music!More infoSugar BarPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Upper West Side•4.6

- RRobertVIPNew York City •38 reviews5.0Dined on 21 Dec 2024We came at 7pm on a Friday (made a reservation) before the place got filled… and by 8pm is was hopping. From the look of it everyone was having a great time. It’s a cozy dark interior made to be more intimate than many brighter spots. Lots of “regulars.” Service was super attentive without being on top of you. Even the “bus boys” were gracious and concerned if you were enjoying everything. The food: Salads and soups were delicious, abundant and nicely presented. Bronzino and pasta were delicious (although the ravioli could have been warmer). All delicious. The point being: screw ordering in. Go out. Go to Sojour.More infoSojourn RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Upper East Side•4.3

- TKTK719New York City •777 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Aug 2024Went to Park Avenue Tavern for my final dinner before leaving NYC. The amazing staff made certain that my experience was beyond perfect. The watermelon salad was so fresh and delicious. The tuna burger was sensational. And of course, the chocolate chip cookie skillet was the definition of heavenly. I am going to miss everyone there so much. Park Avenue Tavern will always be my favorite restaurant in NYC. I will be flying back regularly just to eat there!More infoPark Avenue TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown East•4.4
