The decor is all oriental splendour and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. What's cooking? Traditional Chinese fare. excellent food and delightful service as always. a great combination of laid back atmosphere with tasty cooking. exactly what north London requires. waiting staff are very friendly and engaged. one mild criticism is the arrival/seating process which is rather disorganised - we were eventually seated 15 mins after our reservation time but even that needed a couple of gentle reminders

So happy that Lussmans has come to roost in North London I wanted to try EVERYTHING on the menu - I didn't, but what I chose was beautifully prepared and presented - not over fussy or pretentious -everything was much better than I imagined. Lovely service - Giles Coren is right to rave about Lussmanns!

The food and service were excellent. The ground floor was full, so we sat downstairs which was empty other than our table. The ambiance would likely have been much better on a busier night.
