- JJohn and Lisa1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Davenport Press has always been our favorite for years. You feel the warmth as soon as you walk in the door. The service and food is outstanding. The lamb chops are the best!!More infoDavenport PressPrice: Very Expensive• American• Mineola•4.7

- LLauriNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe asked for seating up upstairs and glad we did! So much quieter up there. We could talk across the table without having to say “what?” all the time! The food was really good-our party had the artichoke salad (very different, very good), the short rib pappadelle with homemade noodles(melt in your mouth short ribs), the ricotta cavatelli (good, but over-garlicky, I was told) and chicken Milanese (so good). Spilt the peanut butter crunch cake— more a mousse than a cake imho, but a tasty end to a lovely meal. We ordered the California Merlot, the reasonably priced one(lol) and it opened up deliciously. Oh, I cannot forget the service: from the young man at valet parking, the women hostess & coat check, waiter and bus boys— all lovely and thoughtful. It was a delightful evening!More infoThymePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Roslyn•4.8
- CcarolVIPNew York City •11 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024ordered from the price fixe menu.. $40.95 for glass of wine, appetizer, entree and dessert. Had the caesar salad (excellent), salmon and brussell sprouts (also excellent) and raspberry sorbet. Bread basket with hummus was also good, just should have been put on the table sooner. Service was good. Beautiful fireplace, but not overly decorated for Christmas. just some poinsiettas. I recommend and would go back.More infoMim’s Restaurant - RoslynPrice: Moderate• American• Roslyn•4.5
- JJennyVIPNew York City •3 reviews4.0Dined on 21 Dec 2024This place used to be our go-to restaurant for all occasions when we lived at Hampton CT in Kew Gardens. Their weekly prime rib special was a must and always good fun at the bar. I decided to have a group brunch with friends to celebrate Christmas as it was more centrally located for everyone. Having been away for nearly 7 years, it was like seeing an old friend again. Food is always prepared thoughtfully and the staff is awesome. Not surprising to learn that John, the general manager is still there. Thanks Austin Ale House for another great memory.More infoAustin's Ale HousePrice: Moderate• American• Kew Gardens•3.7
