Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Locust Point

Soooo, I did chat with the manager…our server got overwhelmed and seemed to miss a drink order and when I inquired she b came very moody. I even shared with the manager that I apologize for upsetting her, it didn’t change the behavior and completely impacted our experience. The staff seemed under prepared for the evening.

What an absolutely amazing experience! I was ecstatic from the moment my reservation was made up to the actual date night. Everything was superb to include: the hostess welcome upon arrival, the beautiful candle lit ambiance, the waiter who was very polite and well versed in the products. He provided amazing food and beverage recommendations which were selected and appreciated. The presentation of the appetizer and entrees was awesome. My bae and I raved over everything while taking in the experience. As we completed dinner and prepared to leave; out came dessert, which was the highlight of the occasion. Upon making the reservation, it asked about a special occasion. All to say, it was Bae and I's 1st anniversary, OMG! The decadent dessert (cheesecake and raspberries) was embedded with gold candles, and a chocolate "Happy Anniversary" topper. As if that were not enough to create smiles and memories, Mr. Charles Levine, owner, visited our table and thanked us for dining at Citron. He cared to ask about our experience and even gifted us Citron memorabilia. You won't believe what happened next; we were adorned with some of the most delicious fine chocolates. Oh what a night!!! This by far was the best of the best. Bae and I plan to visit again in the summer to experience the outdoor dining and lake side view. A very enjoyable dinner on a Saturday night near Christmas. Jason and Isaiah provided great service with Jadon offering several good menu suggestions. We dplit the grilled romaine and butternut squash salad. The goat cheese croquette was the excellent. The shrimp and scallop entree was tasty with a good amount of scallops. The Port a Feu was fantastic. A well prepared cut of beef accompanied by fall vegetables all soaking in a rich au jus. Only slight negative to the evening was being seated right next to another table when the small room we were in was otherwise empty. The room filled up towards the end of the meal, but seating us away from the other table would have been better.

Wow! First of all, Dutch Courage was beautiful —all decked out for the holiday. I had eggnog—delicious. My husband and daughter’s drinks were great—and my daughter’s drink was lit up by the waiter tableside to infuse it with smoke. Fun! And because it was our daughter’s birthday, we wee surprised with Prosecco, which was a nice touch. Service was so personable. We loved everything about it.

Was not crowded or loud at all. Was a very enjoyable experience. Servers were very attentive and turned on the fireplace for us right when we arrived. The food was delicious and portions were worth the price.
