Situated in the Red Rocks country 17 miles southwest of Denver on Hwy 285, The Fort is a true replica of Bent's Fort, (1833-1849), the first American fur trade post in Colorado. The Cheyenne, Arapahoe, Kiowa and Pawnee traded and intermarried at Bent's Old Fort, creating an economic and peaceful exchange of cultures in an otherwise violent West. The Fort building is on the National Registry of Historic Places, and celebrates the many cultures that traded at Bent's Old Fort. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner, fixed price. Beautifully presented, yummy in all respects. All of the staff were very professional and nice......looks like they really pride themselves on efficiency, politeness and presentation. Eddie Merlots is our now 'go to' restaurant for a great meal out. Was not sure if their Thanksgiving feast could be as good as their off the menu food -- and it was.

Thank you to the talented Chef and all the amazing staff for welcoming us on this Thanksgiving. The food was delicious, beyond what we expected. And the staff was friendly, polite and welcoming. So enjoyed our visit. We live in the Springs and picked up our grandson at DU. So glad we made our reservations at Gattara! 10 Stars!!!

The old menu was better and a go-to. This new menu incorporates a lot of seafood. That’s a risk in Colorado…one my husband likes to take. This time it didn’t pay off. The shrimp left him feeling ill all night.
