Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Laguna Hills / Lake Forest / Foothill Ranch

One of our favorite neighborhood haunts and always a pleasure. We especially love the patio. The weather did not permit patio seating this particular night with the combination of Santa Ana winds and a particularly chilly temperature for SoCal, but we found the interior a lovely change. During the weekend the dining room can get a bit loud as the acoustics aren’t great, but since we were here during the off season for SJC (and on a weeknight) it was fairly quiet. Our server was fabulous and the food was exceptional. The squash blossom flatbread is a must!!

Food was fantastic. Our server, Rodney, was the best of the best! I hope they keep him on when they transition to Mastro's.

If you're looking for an excellent prime rib dinner look no further. Five Crowns in Corona del Mar. We had the crown cut (end cut), shared a wedge salad which is enough for two, and my son had the French onion soup. We dined like kings and queens. Five Crowns is part of the Lawry's family with other Lawry's prime rib restaurants. I have also been to the House of Prime rib in San Francisco (reservations 3 months in advance) but Lawry's and Five Crowns beats them hands down. I suggest Lawry's have a contest to see who has better prime rib between House of Prime rib and Lawry's

This was Christmas Day and we were grateful the restaurant was open. We had a reservation and were seated within ten minutes of our scheduled time. We did wait an hour for our food to be served, but it was a holiday. The food was delicious. My party of six all enjoyed their meal. Our waitress was very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

As usual, excellent choice for a great meal! They never disappoint! We also love our server, Gerardo! So much attention & care paid to our party!
