- KKeenyAtlanta •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI went here for galentines & it was absolutely MARVELOUS! You have to valet or park on the street, but street parking was surprisingly easy to find. The door was always opened for us & the guy helped my friends get group pics, which was super kind. The ambient lighting, the live music that transitioned into a DJ later on that night, the amazing bartender (ask for Kelyn, she’s awesome), our super sweet bartender (Zickee? I know I’m mispelling his name, but he was so attentive & kind), & the FOOD. The burger genuinely was the best burger I’ve ever eaten (if you don’t like too much butter, maybe avoid this), the deviled eggs had CAVIAR on it & tasted so good… I wanted to fight my two other friends for the last egg hehe. The lambchop was great, but if you’re HUNGRY, it’s only that on top of a polenta (kind of a cheesy, hashbrown but I think it’s cornmeal not potatoes), so I’d advise getting a side or two with that. The pasta looked amazing, & it genuinely wasn’t as expensive as it may feel. We split everything evenly & with a large tip it was still a decent price! And they gave us chocolate covered strawberries topped with real gold flakes at the end. Perfect restaurant, my absolute favourite in Houston now. Still dreaming of the burger!More infoThe Kennedy - HoustonPrice: Expensive• American• Montrose•3.7

We were seated and our waiter was super sweet! The food was soooooo great. No complaints whatsoever. - KKellyHouston •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoVery nice dinner, staff was great, we were the only table that did not have amuse bouche between courses, all other tables did. The tables seemed flimsy and were too close together. The owner of the hotel did come and introduce himself and that was just lovely to hear about his art. Thank you for a nice night.More infoTonight & Tomorrow at La Colombe d’OrPrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•4.1

- KKevinHouston •5 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Jan 2025How this only had a 3.9 rating on Open Table when we booked, I'll never know. The restaurant itself was absolutely unique and fantastic. It was unusually inexpensive, especially for that type of restaurant. The food was incredible. The only downside was the small portions- so think 'super fancy restaurant with small portions', but honestly I just ordered a second helping and it was great. Two of us, with drinks, under $100, including tip. We were greeted with Champaign for my wife's birthday. Once caution: the check in process is SLOW because they take you through a metal detector, get your name and ID and then send you up in an elevator two by two. Takes a bit to park in the parking garage across the street too (which is $22- city garage I think, or private). The Foundation Room is on the street level, so don't go to the big House of Blues sign and to the 3rd floor like we did. One other piece- there is NOT live music. There is dinner, then there is a separate show that is booked separately. That wasn't overly clear when I booked. BUT, as a dinner venue, it was a home run. 5.0 all the way.More infoFoundation Room House of Blues HoustonPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown•3.9
