Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in West Cambridge

The limited time squid ink gnocchi with lobster was amazing. The wait staff truly works as a team, timely picking up dishes and ensuring that your needs are met. They also were super knowledgeable of the menu, so much so I ventured with a gin cocktail (I hate gin) and found that the gin was just like the waiter described (well masked). 10/10

We’ve been to the Buttery two times—once for brunch and once for dinner— and each time we loved it. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

I recommend Harvest to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion in a cozy, warm, and welcoming atmosphere with amazing food. Our server Soledad was kind, personable, and attentive. The drinks and food were outstanding and everything was coursed out perfectly. Thanks for a great night!

This wonderful gem EXCEEDED our expectations! My husband and I celebrate our anniversary in the north end every year and like to try a new restaurant every time- this place was phenomenal- every single bite was excellent from the starter arugula salad to the veal Marsala which was impeccably seasoned and incredibly tender to the flourless chocolate cake which was oh so fudgy and decadent- the owner/chef came to our table to make sure everything was great (to me this is a staple for a well run restaurant). We were beyond impressed with the wait staff as well- never needed for anything. It will be hard to try a new restaurant next year as this one leaves some really big shoes to fill! A pleasant atmosphere, decent and thoughtful service, a few good brews on tap, a satisfactory wine list. The food? Meh. Nothing that you'll remember or recommend. Portions are adequate if a bit bland and unimaginative.
