Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Financial District

We have an annual Christmas tea here for years. It is a great way to start the holiday season with my girlfriends. We love the tea room at Windsor Arms and return every year as a result. The only thing that made me give a less than perfect score is because we didn’t receive our cocktails before our tea was served. No worries - we will still be back for our annual tradition - we might just have to be clear we want our cocktails first. 😉 Thanks for another lovely tea time!

Great Food, Great Beer Friendly, helpful staff Surprisingly quiet on a Saturday lunchtime

Our regular downtown spot whenever we crave steaks, The Keg once again exceeded our expectations. From a friendly hostess to a wonderful server Matthew S., they made our evening so enjoyable. Steaks were perfect (can never go wrong with their Prime Rib) and their diligence with food allergies are much appreciated. We’ll be returning soon!

It was my cousin’s birthday and we had tickets to see the Moulin Rouge show right after. We let the gentleman overseeing our table know and he made sure we got everything in time and made it out early too. Everything was amazing. Tye was super patient and attentive, and made excellent recommendations for wine, food, and dessert. All the staff were amazing, kind, and helpful. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to come again. My aunt’s exact words were “best restaurant in Toronto I have ever been to”. Thank you Hy for making us feel welcomed and caring about our time even more than us.
