Known for their generous portions of pasta entrees, grilled fare, and fresh fish, Butera's has established a fine reputation as a neighborhood place where guests often see people they know. It is owned and operated by Martin Butera, his wife Laurie, Martin's brother Gary Butera, and partner and chef Nick Zografos. The large open room is tastefully decorated with a traditional and contemporary mix, with rich dark woodwork and stone treatments, granite table tops, a wood and granite bar, fieldstone and hardwood floors, stone fireplace, exposed wine racks and a Tiffany style fixture at the entrance. Fresh flowers complete the handsome decor.     I saw lots of bad reviews and was nervous, but if you're prepared to wait an extra 30-45 minutes from your reservation time, it's worth it. I'd never been here, but I think the delays are from the holiday rush. We waited about 40 minutes from our reservation time to get a table. But this gave us the time to walk around the winter village which is beautiful. So if you don't have to be seated immediately, I'd highly recommend it. Also, the food takes time, too. I don't remember exactly how long to get our plates, but longer than usual. It's expensive, but you're paying for the ambience, the experience and the food is pretty good. Not the best food in the world, but we really enjoyed it. And the Christmas Carolers sung beautiful Christmas songs all around the restaurant. So be ready to break the bank, wait a little longer, but get a unique holiday experience while doing so.

    The cutest little spot for an afternoon or night of festive fun! The outdoor igloo experience was so cozy and cute all while watching Christmas movies and snacking and drinking on our holiday themed cocktails! Thank you for such a fun afternoon that made us even more excited for Christmas! Thanks for the great service too!
