Very attentive service, although by many different waiting staff. Pork crackling was sadly chewy, fed back to staff. Sad that apple pie and custard was served cold - deliberately. Lovely surroundings.

Diners are served excellent food and fine wines in spacious and delightful surroundings. Each diner is made to feel very welcome. The dining area is light and airy in the daytime and cosy and intimate when it is dark. The service is always outstanding. My wife and I like to think that we are discriminating when it comes to choosing somewhere special to dine. We come back again and again. We would not do so if we were not satisfied both with what we receive and what we are asked to pay. Guests, when they come with us, always enjoy the experience.

Great for a Sunday roast! We always try and get a place by the fire. Lovely atmosphere and incredible sticky toffee pudding! Only small negative would be that the chef tends to seriously overcook the Yorkshire pudding to the point it’s no longer edible. Rest of the lamb roast is gorgeous though!
