Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Pudsey

First time visit and will certainly come back. Excellent service from the moment I walked through the door- lovely touches like tea in a proper teapot, food delivered to the table with style, helping me on with my coat as we were leaving and several members of staff thanking us for our visit. My son’s Chicken Schnitzel was wonderful ( his words), my fish and chips a little less so but still enjoyable. When I mentioned to the waiter that I hadn’t really enjoyed the fish, the Maitre d’ came straight to see us and apologised - there was no need it wasn’t a complaint. Do visit here it is a grown up restaurant rather than a bar that serves food and they genuinely want you to enjoy your visit.

Friendly welcome on our second visit to our new favourite bistro. Charming and knowledgeable explanation of the new dishes to us on the menu which felt a personal touch. Attentive and chatty service throughout the meal. Our varied choice of starters were all very good. Some big flavours accompanying the mains, especially the delicious duck. Portion sizes perfect for our healthy appetites. Overall another great experience for a small family celebration. Many thanks, hope to see you again soon.

We had an exceptional meal and experience at Forde. My friends came up from Liverpool for my Birthday and I wanted to treat them so a lovely meal and Forde always feels like such a treat. The food was excellent! Especially the steak and the salmon, but to be honest, it was all delicious. The service was outstanding - friendly, helpful and efficient staff. I brought my dog with me and they couldn't have been more welcoming with her. lovely venue and atmosphere and just overall and wonderful experience :)

Despite there being a big party upstairs service was good. We had a young boy with us and the staff made him feel special making sure he was spoken to with regard to his orders, they went above and beyond for him. The food was excellent as usual with generous portions. my next visit is already booked.

First time to Gauchos we had the £30 anniversary meal for 3 courses and it was very good value for money. Lovely staff and excellent wine - would definitely recommend even though it would have been more expensive a la carte all the food they brought out looked superb.
