The deck that wraps around the conservatory offers a rare opportunity in land-locked Oxford to dine outside with an idyllic view.     Enjoyed a delicious lunch with friends. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the food. A lovely warm glowing wood burner was very welcoming on a cold day. I look forward to revisiting again soon.

    We enjoyed some sharing small plates; hi-light being the curry wurst! Absolutely delicious, especially with the wonderful German larger. My dish of sea bass with red curry broth was delightful; perfectly cooked fish with a beautiful spicy aromatic sauce; really tasty!

    The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.
